2. Optional City Tour (From Beijing)
A. Imperial Tour (One Day including Set Lunch on route)
Today you will be guided to the largest Square in the world, “Tian An Men Square”, For over a hundred years, many ceremony and demonstrations have been held here. Walk across the street and pass through the Tian An Men Gate, you will visit the Forbidden City, which served as the seat of imperial power during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911) and now know as the Palace Museum. In the afternoon, you will visit the wonderfully preserved and restored Summer Palace and back to your hotel after the tour.
B. Great Wall Excursion (One Day including Set Lunch on route)
The Great Wall, one of the greatest wonders of the world; has a history of 2000 years, it is one of the most appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance. After that, travel to the Ming Tombs and the legendary Sacred Walk of Statues.
C. Half Day Discover Tour (Half Day, without meal)
The “Bird’s Nest” & “Water cube”, which are well known arena in the whole world because of the Olympic Game 2008.You will be driven to take a look of these two fantastic building today. (outside look) After that, you will be driven back to the old Beijing and experience a rickshaw tour of Beijing’s original “hutong” district, a fascinating maze of back alleys and hidden courtyards.
